NASA PRESENTS RETURN TO FLIGHT UPDATE

The Space Shuttle Program is making solid progress in meeting the milestones required for Return to Flight. NASA remains confident March 2005, is a reasonable planning window for resuming Space Shuttle missions.

NASA will provide a Return to Flight media teleconference update Friday at 2 p.m. CDT. To participate, reporters should contact Allard Beutel or Melissa Mathews at: 202/358-4769/1272 no later than 11a.m. CDT Friday.

Participants:

-- Michael Kostelnik, NASA's Deputy Associate Administrator for International Space Station and Space Shuttle Programs
-- Space Shuttle Program Manager, Bill Parsons
-- Space Shuttle Program Deputy Manager, Wayne Hale
