MEDIA INVITED TO MEET NFL COMMISSIONER PAUL TAGLIABUE FOLLOWING VISIT TO JSC

Paul Tagliabue, National Football League Commissioner, will tour the Johnson Space Center Tuesday, Jan. 27, and spend a few minutes talking with the crew on board the International Space Station.

At the conclusion of his tour, Tagliabue will talk briefly with media about the upcoming Super Bowl game and his visit to JSC. A media opportunity is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. in the Jake Garn Training Facility. Media wishing to participate in this opportunity must contact the JSC Newsroom by 9 a.m. CST Tuesday for accreditation.

During the pre-game show, the NFL will pay tribute to the crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia and NASA as they mark the one-year anniversary of the loss of Columbia.

Footage of the commissioner’s visit to JSC will air on NASA Television at 2 p.m. CST, with still imagery available on the NASA website. NASA Television can be found on AMC-2, Transponder 9C, vertical polarization at 85 degrees West longitude, 3880 MHz, with audio at 6.8 MHz.
