Space Station Crew Reacts to Successful China Launch
Audio and video from the International Space Station regarding China's first human space flight will be available today on NASA Television.
Expedition 7 Commander Yuri Malenchenko and NASA Space Station Science Officer Ed Lu are in the final week of their stay aboard the space outpost. They were notified about the successful launch early this morning.
Initial audio comments from the Space Station crew will be played on NASA TV at 10:15 a.m. CNT during today's mission commentary.
Both audio and video from the Station concerning China's launch will be available on today's Video File feeds scheduled for 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. CNT.
NASA Television is available on AMC-9, transponder 9C, C-Band, located at 85 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. For information about NASA TV on the Internet, visit:
