NOTE TO EDITORS:

International Space Station Status Briefing Scheduled

A briefing on the status of the International Space Station Program will be held at 8 a.m. EDT May 15 at the Kennedy Space Center, FL, and televised live on NASA TV. The status briefing will follow a meeting of the International Space Station Control Board that will consider the formal approval of a revised Station assembly schedule.

Participants will include Program Manager Randy Brinkley; Deputy Program Manager for Operations Kevin Chilton; and Space Station Director of Launch Site Support Steve Francois. Questions will be taken via NASA-TV from participating NASA centers.

NASA Television is available through the GE2 satellite which is located on Transponder 9C, at 85 degrees West longitude, frequency 3880.0 MHz, audio 6.8 MHz.
