Media Invited to Attend American
Astronautical Society Conference
Media are invited to attend the American Astronautical Society
National Conference Monday through Thursday as scientists, engineers
and program managers look at plans for the upcoming International
Space Station and the exploration of space.
Speakers at this year’s event include Andy Chaikin, author of "A
Man on the Moon," Henry McDonald, director of the NASA Ames Research
Center talking on "Earthly Rewards of Humans in Space" and Wesley
Huntress of the Carnegie Institute in Washington speaking on "Grand
Challenges for Space Exploration."
Activities begin Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. at South Shore Harbour
Hotel in League City. To reserve a place at one of the sessions,
