NOTE TO EDITORS:

HOUSE COMMITTEE ON SCIENCE CHAIRMAN PRESS AVAILABILITYThe Honorable Robert S. Walker (R-PA), Chairman of the House Committee on Science, will meet with local news media at 1:30 p.m., Monday, August 7, during a tour and briefing at the Johnson Space Center.

Accredited news media interested in talking with Mr. Walker should be in place at the Space Station mockup facility in Building 9 no later than 1:15.

Walker will be accompanied several committee members, as well as majority committee staff members. The tour and briefings will include visits to Mission Control, Space Station training facility, virtual reality and robotics area and life sciences facilities.
