NOTE TO EDITORS:

PRESS AVAILABILITY FOR ASTRONAUTS THAGARD AND DUNBAR

Astronauts Norman E. Thagard, M.D., and Bonnie J. Dunbar, Ph.D., will be available for round-robin interviews with news media from 1 to 4 p.m. CST, Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston.

Veteran astronauts Thagard and Dunbar were selected as the prime and backup crew members for a 3-month flight aboard the Russian space station Mir. The mission is scheduled for March 1995. The astronaut's training in Star City, Russia, begins later this month.

News media interested in taking part in the round-robins should notify the JSC newsroom at 713-483-5111.
