Total proposed cost and fee of the 5-year effort beginning Jan. 1, 1994, is approximately $35 million. The 5-year period of performance will be divided into a 2-year base contract period and three 1-year option periods. The award will be the continuation of the engineering and technical effort currently being performed by Loral Space Information Systems, Inc.

The contracted work will be performed at the JSC Ellington Field, Houston. Support will be required for Shuttle training aircraft deployed in Shuttle launch/landing and field training operations at El Paso, Texas; Edwards AFB, Calif.; and Kennedy Space Center, Fla.
