RELEASE: 93-073

FACILITY, ROADS AND UTILITIES MAINTENANCE CONTRACT SIGNED

NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston, has signed a cost-plus-award-fee contract worth $28.3 million with Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc., a small business firm from Reston, Va., to provide construction and maintenance services at JSC.

The contract is for a basic effort plus four 1-year options. The basic period for the performance is from Nov. 1, 1993, through Oct. 31, 1994, employing about 50 workers.

Services provided will be minor modification of buildings and maintenance of roads and utilities systems at JSC.

This contract was awarded based on a competitive procurement.
