NOTE TO EDITORS: CHANGE IN JSC NEWSROOM OPERATION HOURS

During Space Shuttle mission STS-56, scheduled to launch April 8 at

12:29 a.m. CDT, the Johnson Space Center Newsroom will be open on the following schedule:

April 7 9:30 p.m. to midnight

April 8 Midnight to 5 p.m.

April 9 4 a.m to 5 p.m.

April 10 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 11 Midnight to 5 p.m.

April 12 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 13 Midnight to 5 p.m.

April 14 3:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 15 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 16 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This schedule is revised from the previously announced daily schedule of midnight to 5 p.m. Revising the schedule allows more people to staff the newsroom during the most active phases of the mission.
