Johnson Space Center's Chamber G is a small, high vacuum chamber equipped with cold walls. The vacuum system consists of mechanical and oil diffusion pumps. Shroud temperatures can be controlled by mixing hot and cold gaseous nitrogen, or by flowing liquid nitrogen directly through the cold walls.

    Working Dimensions: 1.4 ‘ diameter x 2 feet deep
Types of pumps: Diffusion pump for high vacuum
    Pumpdown Time: 1 hour

    Nitrogen or air

    Full Chamber Shroud: Available
Usable Features Hot and cold GN2 mixing for shroud thermal control at temperatures above full LN2 flow
