Location of new site for Space Task Group

1. It has been announced today by the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration that the location of the new Center will be upon a 1000-acre site donated by Rice University southeast of Houston in Harris County, Texas.

2. A transcript of the official NASA release on the subject is attached.

3. Additional information as well as a booklet of general information about the Houston and Harris County area will be distributed to the staff as quickly as possible.
