NASA's Annual Workshop on Independent Verification and Validation of Software

The Annual Workshop on Independent Verification and Validation of Software held by NASA's IV&V Program offers an understanding of the challenges that V&V organizations face in assuring that system software operates safely and reliably. The goal of the workshop is to generate solutions to these challenges.

NASA’s 2014 Annual Workshop on Independent Verification and Validation of Software will be held September 9 – 11.  Location is to be determined.  Check back often for updates!

Registration for NASA's 2014 Annual Workshop on Independent Verification and Validation of Software will open June 1, 2014.

Please take a few minutes to tell us what you believe are the challenges to future system software development and verification and validation of those systems.

Virtual Conference: The organizing committee of NASA's 2013 Annual Workshop on Independent Verification and Validation of Software is eager to provide a flexible conference to allow maximum participation. For 2013 we are planning a virtual conference using web-based interactive applications. We will announce the details of participation as soon as possible. Please check back for updates.

When traveling South on I-79 (from Morgantown):

  • Take Exit 132 (South Fairmont)
  • Make a left turn at the stoplight onto Route 250 South
  • Turn right onto NASA Boulevard at the next light (in front of Dan Cava Toyota)
  • Turn right onto Galliher Drive and take immediate right to driveway leading to parking garage (bear left at the "Y")
  • Visitor parking is available on East side ground floor level (P1) before the access gate
  • Take elevator to the Plaza level (*P) to main entrance
  • Exit through the parking garage to the right at the opposite side (West end)

When traveling North on I-79 (from Clarksburg):

  • Take Exit 132 (South Fairmont)
  • Make a left turn at the stoplight onto Route 250 North
  • Turn left onto NASA Boulevard at the next light (in front of Dan Cava Toyota)
  • Turn right onto Galliher Drive and take immediate right to driveway leading to parking garage (bear left at the "Y")
  • Visitor parking is available on East side ground floor level (P1) before the access gate
