IV&V Capability Development Program

The internally supported NASA IV&V Capability Development (CD) Program supports advanced research to keep pace with developing technology and to find more effective ways to conduct IV&V. The CD Program monitors, encourages, and facilitates the use of real NASA data and the transition of cutting-edge research tools and practices to NASA projects, although transition can be funded as discrete research projects.

The CD Program is intended to develop methodologies and tools to improve the quality of IV&V of the software produced by and for NASA, and to assist NASA in becoming a leader in the development of safe, reliable, cost-effective software.
