NASA Goddard Chief Scientist Dr. Jim Garvin guides guests through the life cycle of NASA missions. The virtual tour showcases Goddard facilities and personnel, and how they work together to transform a spacecraft from an idea into reality.

The tour highlights seven phases: Idea, Design, Construction, Testing, Launch, Operations and Scientific Analysis. In each area, Dr. Garvin narrates an introductory video from a related location on the Goddard campus to give you the basics. You will then be able to continue your tour by exploring people, places and missions.

It's a look at the amazing science and technology behind Goddard's doors without leaving the comfort of your own computer.
