Up Close and Personal

Footage on the sphere requires unusually large image sizes. When shooting close-ups of icy surfaces, the production team used two high definition cameras side by side to facilitate ultra-wide images. "Frozen" crew members, from left to right, are Chris Meaney, Michael Starobin, Vicky Weeks and Chris Smith.
