Explore@NASA Goddard - Parking
 
There is no public parking on center. Guests must park at one of the satellite parking lots listed below for transportation to Goddard Space Flight Center. Free satellite parking for Explore@NASA Goddard attendees will be available at several area locations. All locations will be clearly marked with Explore@NASA Goddard signage and Goddard security and event staff will be there to direct you.

Free shuttles will transport visitors to and from Goddard Space Flight Center approximately every 15 minutes Saturday, May 14th from 11:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. After 4:00 p.m., shuttles will no longer pick up from the satellite parking or metro locations, but they will continue to drop off. Satellite parking and metro locations are below.

Duval High School is located at 9880 Good Luck Road, Lanham, MD 20706. The Explore@NASA Goddard shuttle will pick-up/drop-off in the front of the school. Approximately 216 parking spaces are available at this site. All parking is free.

Laurel Fringe Lot is located at 9000 Briarcroft Lane, Laurel, MD 20708. The Explore@NASA Goddard shuttle will pick-up/drop-off at the bus terminal. Approximately 684 parking spaces are available at this site. All parking is free.

Greenbelt Metro Station (Green Line) is located at 5600 Greenbelt Metro Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770. The Explore@NASA Goddard shuttle will pick-up/drop-off on the bus terminal side of the metro station at “Bus Terminal Stop C.” Attendees may catch the metro or drive and park at this location. Approximately 3,399 parking spaces (including garage parking) are available at this site. All parking is free.

New Carrollton Metro Station (Orange Line) is located at 4700 Garden City Drive, New Carrollton, MD 20784. The Explore@NASA Goddard shuttle will pick-up/drop-off on the Route 50 side of the metro station at bus terminal stand “Bus Terminal Stop D.” Attendees may catch the metro or drive and park at this location. Approximately 3,519 parking spaces (including garage parking) are available at this site. All parking is free.
