NASA Makes Debut at Grass Lake Traffic Jam'in Event

CLEVELAND - For the first time, NASA will have an exhibit at the 2012 Grass Lake Traffic Jam'in event in downtown Grass Lake, Mich., on Aug. 3 and 4.

The exhibit, coming from NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, will feature the popular "Picture Yourself in Space" photo booth, where visitors can have their free souvenir photo taken as an astronaut; the solar system scale, where visitors can find out how much they would weigh on the moon and Mars; and free NASA informational material. Eva, Glenn's 7-foot-tall inflatable astronaut, will also make a special appearance each day.

The NASA exhibit area will be open on Friday, Aug. 3 from 5 to 11 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
