NASA Glenn Brings the Excitement of Aeronautics and Space Exploration to Indiana Black Expo
CLEVELAND - NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland invites visitors at the Indiana Black Expo to explore interactive exhibits and participate in science activities. NASA exhibits will be on display July 20-22 in the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, Ind.
The exhibit will feature a theatre highlighting the accomplishments of NASA's African-American astronauts; the popular "Picture Yourself in Space" photo booth, where visitors can have their free souvenir photo taken as an astronaut; the solar system scale, where visitors can find out how much they would weigh on the moon and each of the planets; and free NASA informational material. Eva, a 7-foot-tall inflatable astronaut, will also make a special appearance each day.
The NASA exhibit area will be open on Friday, July 20 from noon to 9 p.m., on Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, July 22 from noon to 6 p.m.
