CLEVELAND--Robyn N. Gordon has been appointed to the U.S. government's Senior Executive Service as Director of Center Operations at NASA's Glenn Research Center, Cleveland.

In this position, Gordon manages organizational objectives and direction, resource allocation and overall institutional functions. She is responsible for the center's human resources, training and development, procurement, security, technical services and logistics.

Other positions Gordon held at Glenn include, Chief of the Office of Diversity, and Chief of the Office of Human Resources and Workforce Planning.

Before joining Glenn in 2002, Gordon worked for the City of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Public Library where she attained leadership experience in human resources.

Gordon earned her bachelor's degree in human resources management and a master's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, and completed the senior executive fellows program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
