NASA to Hold FY 2010 Budget Briefing
 
 
CLEVELAND -- Media representatives are invited to attend a live televised broadcast of a press conference on NASA's fiscal year 2010 budget on Thursday, May 7, at 2:30 p.m. in the Administration Building at NASA's Glenn Research Center.

NASA Acting Administrator Chris Scolese and NASA Comptroller David Schurr will brief the media on the agency's fiscal year 2010 budget proposal. Reporters attending the briefing at Glenn will be able to view the NASA Television broadcast, which originates from NASA Headquarters in Washington. Questions will only be taken from reporters at headquarters.

Following the live broadcast, Glenn Center Director Dr. Woodrow Whitlow Jr. along with Deputy Director Ray Lugo, Associate Director Vernon W. "Bill" Wessel, Chief Financial Officer Debra Watson and other Glenn senior management officials will be available to talk with reporters or listen and ask questions by phone.

Reporters planning to attend the briefings should call the Media Relations Office at 216-433-2901 by noon on May 7 in order to be cleared through security. Reporters planning to participate by phone should dial 216-433-6280 or 866-702-6280, and use 8806 for the meeting ID number.
