NASA Awards Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services Contract
 
 
CLEVELAND -- NASA's Glenn Research Center has selected ARES Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio, to provide safety and mission assurance support services.

ARES will provide on-site support services to a variety of projects at Glenn's Lewis Field in Cleveland and Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio and other locations as identified in individual task orders. The type of services to be provided include system safety, reliability and maintainability, quality assurance, material and processes, software assurance, risk management, independent audits and assessments, and inspections measurement and test equipment.

This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Task Order, Time and Materials contract. The maximum value of the contract is $18.4 million over a possible five-year period, consisting of a three-year base period followed by one two-year option.
