NASA Glenn Invites Public to Watch Next Shuttle Launch
Cleveland--The Visitor Center at NASA's Glenn Research Center will extend its normal hours of operation for the public to view the STS-117 launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis. The first launch opportunity is Friday, June 8, with liftoff targeted for 7:38 p.m.
During its mission, Atlantis will continue construction of the International Space Station as the crew delivers the S3/S4 starboard truss segments, batteries and another pair of solar arrays to the space station.

or call the Visitor Center at 216-433-2000.
The Visitor Center is located at 21000 Brookpark Road. Admission to the Visitor Center is free, and the building is wheelchair accessible. All adult visitors must present government-issued photo identification upon entering the Center's Main Gate. Access to the Center is restricted to U.S. citizens. All vehicles are subject to inspection.
Normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
