NASA TO HOLD FY 2008 BUDGET NEWS CONFERENCE

Media representatives are invited to attend a live televised broadcast 
of a press conference on NASA's fiscal year 2008 budget request on 
Monday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m., in the Administration Building at NASA's 
Glenn Research Center.

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin will preview the agency's fiscal 
year 2008 budget proposal. Reporters attending the briefing at Glenn 
will be able to view the NASA TV broadcast, which originates from 
NASA Headquarters in Washington, and ask questions. Following the 
live broadcast, Glenn Center Director Dr. Woodrow Whitlow Jr., along 
with Deputy Director Rich Christiansen, Associate Director Vernon W. 
"Bill" Wessel, and Acting Chief Financial Officer Debra Watson, will 
be available to talk with reporters.

Reporters planning to attend the briefings should call the Media 
Relations Office at 216-433-2901 by 10 a.m. on Feb. 5 in order to be 
cleared through security.
