Residing at the Ohio Aerospace Institute outside the NASA Glenn 
Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, the new NASA Safety Center will 
focus its efforts on supporting the development of personnel, 
processes and tools needed for the safe and successful achievement of 
NASA's strategic goals in support of the Vision for Space 
Exploration.

The facility will support and strengthen the wide range of NASA safety 
and mission assurance efforts and its disciplines of system safety, 
reliability and maintainability, quality engineering and assurances, 
software assurance, and risk management.

Media representatives are invited to the dedication of the NASA Safety 
Center. Reporters interested in attending should contact Sally
