Star Gazing & More at NASA's Glenn Research Center

Media representatives are invited to attend NASA Glenn Research Center's "Star Gazing & More" event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. This free event offers the greater Cleveland community an opportunity to learn more about the wonders of the universe and NASA's plans for traveling to the moon, Mars and beyond while celebrating National Astronomy Day.

The event will feature day and nighttime telescope viewing, auditorium presentations, a tour of Glenn's Hangar, hands-on educational activities and the Vision for Space Exploration Experience at its first stop in Ohio.

"Star Gazing & More" is presented in partnership with Lake Erie Nature & Science Center's Walter R. Schuele Planetarium and the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association.

Media representatives interested in covering the event should contact Sallie Keith at 216-433-5795 or 216-308-0801 (cell) to arrange access through the center's main gate. Parking for the general public will be on the north side of Brookpark road.
