NASA to Hold FY 2007 Budget News Conference

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin will brief the media about the agency's fiscal year 2007 budget at 1 p.m. EST, Monday, Feb. 6 from NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC. The Administrator will be joined by NASA's associate administrators for the Space Operations, Science, Aeronautics and Exploration mission directorates.

Media representatives are invited to attend the live televised broadcast in the Administration Building at NASA's Glenn Research Center.

Following the Administrator's briefing, Glenn Center Director Dr. Woodrow Whitlow Jr., along with Deputy Director Rich Christiansen and Associate Director Bob Fails, will be available to answer questions from reporters.

Reporters planning to attend the briefing should call the Media Relations Office at 216-433-2901 by 10 a.m. on Monday in order to be cleared through security.

The Administrator's press briefing will be live on NASA Television with questions only from reporters at NASA Headquarters. NASA TV's Public, Education and Media channels are available on an MPEG-2 digital C-band signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical polarization.
