Harrington Media Relations Office 216/433-2037 Sally.V.Harrington@nasa.gov NASA Glenn Visitor Center Closed for National Day of Mourning The Visitor Center at NASA's Glenn Research Center will be closed on Friday, June 11, for the National Day of Mourning in honor of Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States. However, it will be open, as will the entire Glenn Research Center for "Journey to Tomorrow," the free Public Open House on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission to the open house is free. Parking, at no cost, for the open house is available at the IX Center, One IX Center Drive, Cleveland. Handicapped parking is available at Glenn's Development Engineering Building lot on the north side of Brookpark Road west of the I-480 and Grayton Road interchange. Free shuttles to the open house will be provided from both locations. Visitors may also take the Rapid Transit to the Brookpark Station and get a transfer for a free shuttle to Glenn. As always, all adult visitors must present a government-issued photo identification to obtain entrance to the Center. All persons are subject to inspection.
