Rachul Media Relations Office 216/433-8806 Lori.J.Rachul@nasa.gov Three Northeast Ohio companies Selected for Construction Services Contract Awards NASA's Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio, has selected three Ohio companies--Ruccella Construction, Cleveland; Horner Construction, Huron; and New Era Builders, Cleveland--to provide general construction type services to existing buildings, facilities and infrastructure at Glenn and its Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio. Each company will be awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task-order contract. The contracts will provide for a maximum performance period of three years at an estimated annual dollar value of $3 million per year. The contracts will have a total estimated value of $27 million. Construction services to be performed are, but not limited to, architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental. The contracts were awarded through the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program, which encourages business development of small disadvantaged businesses. # # # -end-
