NASA Selects Providers of Information Technology
Services for Four NASA Research Centers
NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, OH, has selected Intellisource
of Vienna, VA (recently acquired by Affiliated Computer Services,
Dallas, TX), partnered with Science Applications International Corp.
of San Diego, CA, to provide information technology services for the
four NASA Aerospace Technology centers under the Outsourcing Desktop
Initiative (ODIN) for NASA.
The total value for the four delivery orders is estimated at $123.7
million, including optional infrastructure upgrades.
The services will be ordered under the existing ODIN master contract,
which is administered by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt,
MD. They include comprehensive desktop computer, server, local area
network, telephone, local video, administrative radio, remote
communication and public address services.
Glenn is the lead center for the Aerospace Technology ODIN delivery
orders. The Aerospace Technology centers, including Glenn, are Ames
Research Center in Moffett Field, CA; Dryden Flight Research Center
in Edwards, CA; and Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. The
breakdown by Center is $43.3 million for Glenn; $37.4 million for
Langley; $27.2million for Ames; and $15.8 million for Dryden.
There will be four firm fixed-priced delivery orders, one for each
Aerospace Technology center. The period of performance is 36 months
beginning on October 1 at Glenn and Dryden; November 1 at Langley and
December 1 at Ames.
