NASA Awards $95.5 Million Contract to Virginia Firm

NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, OH, has awarded a five-year contract to Information Dynamics, Inc., McLean, VA, to provide logistical and administrative services to Glenn. The total value of the contract, including options, is $95.5 million.

The logistical services to be performed under the contract include: property management, shipping and receiving, instrument inspection and calibration, supply management, transportation, package and mail delivery, vehicle maintenance, visual imaging technology, technical information services (including technical library services and technical publishing), copying, printing, clerical and administrative services.

The contract runs for two years with three one-year option periods. It is a performance based, cost reimbursement contract with separate incentive fees designed to reward the contractor for overall exceptional performance. The procurement was issued as a small business set aside.
