NASA TO MAKE MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY



NASA will make a major announcement at a news conference today at noon 
EST in the NASA Headquarters auditorium, 300 E St., SW, Washington, 
DC. Participants will include NASA Administrator Daniel S. Goldin



The news conference will be broadcast on NASA Television with two-way 
question and answer capability for reporters at participating NASA 
centers. Reporters are invited to view the live broadcast in Room 215 
of the Administration Building at NASA Lewis Research Center. 
Reporters will be able to ask questions of the press conference 
participants in Washington via a two-way audio link.



NASA Television is carried on GE-2, Transponder 9C, 85 degrees West 
longitude, vertical polarization, with a frequency of 3880 Mhz, and 
audio of 6.8 Mhz.
