NASA Lewis Receives "Space Observance Week" Proclamation

Clevelan, OH -- NASA Lewis Research Center Deputy Director Dr. J. Stuart Fordyce (left), a resident of Fairview Park, received the "Space Observance Week" proclamation from Richard Konisiewcz, liaison for Ethnic and International Relations, Office of Mayor Michael White, at the NASA Lewis Visitors Center on July 6, 1994. The proclamation was given prior to the first in a series of evening lectures commemorating the 25th anniversary of mankind's first steps on the Moon, July 20, 1969, during the Apollo 11 mission.
