Three NASA Lewis Research Center Employees Receive Certified Profession Secretary Rating

Cleveland, OH -- Three secretaries from NASA's Lewis Research Center have received their Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating. There are now a total of 22 secretaries at Lewis Research Center with the CPS rating.

The CPS rating is internationally recognized as the standard for secretarial proficiency. To receive the CPS rating, secretaries must pass a rigorous two-day examination covering behavioral science in business, business law, economics and management, accounting, office administration and communication, and office technology.

The CPS examination is given under the direction of Professional Secretaries International (PSI). PSI is the world's leading organization of secretaries.

The name and hometown of the recipients are as follows:

Bernice Beznoska
Strongsville
Advanced Communications Technology Satellite Project Office
Vicki Hagerman
Litchfield
Financial Management Division
Carol Kasicki
North Ridgeville
Space Electronics Division
