Eleven NASA Lewis Research Center Employees Receive "Silver Snoopy
Award"
Cleveland, OH -- Astronaut Ron M. Sega recently presented
11 NASA Lewis Research Center employees with the astronauts' personal
achievement award, the "Silver Snoopy".
The "Silver Snoopy" is awarded to individuals who have performed an
outstanding effort contributing to the success of manned space flight
missions. Emphasis is placed on efforts enhancing the probability of
mission success.
Each honoree receives a Snoopy Award, a silver pin in the form of
Snoopy garbed in space helmet and space suit, a certificate and a
letter of commendation personally signed by an astronaut citing the
appreciation of the astronauts.
Awards were personally presented by Astronaut Sega at each individuals
workplace. Following is the list of awardees and their hometowns:
