NASA's Greg Johnson Flies the Stars and Stripes at the Dayton Air Show

NASA astronaut Greg "Box" Johnson was front and center as the grand marshal of the Dayton Air Show Parade over the July 4th weekend. Welcomed as a hometown hero, Johnson, who grew up in the Dayton area, was given a key to the city in nearby Vandalia where the parade took place.

During the air show, featuring the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, visitors toured NASA Glenn exhibits with moon rocks, model rockets, and interactive features. Fans also posed for pictures with Johnson while he signed autographs.
