Watch the Space Shuttle Launch
 
Share in the excitement of the space shuttle mission. Come to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center to watch live coverage of the shuttle launch on our big screen.

Atlantis is scheduled to lift off on Monday, May 11, at 2:01 p.m. EDT, beginning the STS-125 mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.

Good and other crew members will install instruments designed to enable new discoveries and make repairs that will keep the telescope operating until at least 2014.

Please check the space shuttle page for changes to the launch schedule. If launch is delayed, call 216-433-2000 to confirm that the Visitor Center will be open for live launch viewing. Admission is free, and the Visitor Center is wheelchair accessible.

  • Access to the Visitor Center is limited to U.S. citizens.
  • All adult visitors are required to present government-issued photo identification.
  • All vehicles are subject to inspection.
