Space Shuttle Landing Postponed
 
Photo: Discovery after landingDue to bad weather, the landing of space shuttle Atlantis has been postponed until Saturday, May 23, at approximately 9:16 a.m. EDT. Our Visitor Center will not be open at that time to show the landing.

Please check the Space Shuttle Section for changes to the landing schedule. The Visitor Center will be open during its normal operating hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

During the STS-125 mission, the Atlantis crew performed five spacewalks to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. Ohio's own Michael Good of Broadview Heights served as a mission specialist.

The Visitor Center is wheelchair accessible, and admission is free.

Please note the following important guidelines:
  • Access to the Visitor Center is limited to U.S. citizens.
  • All adult visitors are required to present government-issued photo identification.
  • All vehicles are subject to inspection.
