In the world of high fashion, image is everything. When you are 200 miles away from Earth in the vacuum of space, it's easy to understand why form follows function.

Join us Sunday, May 3, for a special presentation.

Presentation:
2 p.m. - NASA Aerospace Engineer Bryan Palaszewski presents a look at spacesuits and other attire worn during various missions.

Space is limited, so arrive early to get your seats. This free family event also includes:
  • Spacesuit exhibits
  • Eva the inflatable astronaut
  • "Picture Yourself in Space" digital photographs
  • and much more!
Throughout Fashion Week, we will feature spacesuit displays and interactive kiosks during the Visitor Center's normal operating hours. We'll also debut the newest additions to our "John Glenn: Tribute to an American Hero" gallery. A blue flightsuit and a rugby-style crew shirt that John Glenn wore on space shuttle mission STS-95 in 1998 will remain on permanent display. The items are on loan from the John Glenn Archives of the Ohio State University.

Please note the following important guidelines:
