The NASA Glenn Educator Resource Center houses a collection of supplemental resource materials, including:

  • Videotape Programs
  • 35-mm Slides (with scripts and/or audio cassette tapes)
  • Software
  • Teacher Guides
  • NASA Publications
The Educator Resource Center (ERC) is located within the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, however it has different operating hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Appointments are necessary. If you don't you live in NASA Glenn's six-state region , you can visit the ERC location nearest you. If you are not within driving distance of any of these locations, you should contact the NASA Educator Resource Center assigned for your state. Requests for teacher materials should be directed to erc@grc.nasa.gov

Lunar/Meteorite Sample Program
Teachers can receive lunar and meteorite samples for temporary use. For information on certification and scheduling, call the Educator Resource Center at (216) 433-2017 or send your request via e-mail to erc@grc.nasa.gov.

Central Operation of Resources for Educators (CORE)
Distributes nationally and internationally NASA-produced educational multimedia materials like those found in ERCs. A catalog can be obtained by e-mailing to nasaco@leeca.org or writing to:

Audiovisual Library
NASA videotapes in various formats are available for loan to educators, organizations, television, and cable stations. Selected programs are available in open captioned format for the hearing impaired. Write, call, or FAX:

NASA Television
NASA's television service offers daily educational and informational programming in addition to complete coverage of missions and press events. Teachers and students will want to tune in and view the new format of NASA TV with a eye focused on the NASA Education File. Check current listings and tune in to the number one source of aeronautics and space programming available today!
