RAIF - Summary

The NASA Dryden Williams Research Aircraft Integration Facility provides an environment for conducting efficient and thorough testing of advanced, highly integrated research aircraft. It hosts a variety of functions supported by state-of-the-art equipment including high-fidelity flight simulation, vehicle-in-the-loop automated testing, remotely augmented vehicle operation, remotely piloted vehicle operation, ground vibration testing, and routine aircraft maintenance.

The RAIF is staffed by an experienced research team with backgrounds in all phases of flight simulation, flight control verification and validation, control theory, aircraft structures, electrical and mechanical hardware design and fabrication, and remote aircraft operations. It stands ready to support the most advanced flight research now and in the future.
