Altair/ Ikhana Pod



In addition to the aircraft, NASA Dryden has developed an instrumentation pod that can be carried on the belly of the Altair or a wing station of the Ikhana. The pod can accommodate payloads of up to 750 pounds in a volume of approximately 20 cubic foot. The pod is modifiable to accommodate camera ports and external sensor installations.
