Data Acquisition and Distribution (DADS)

Mission Statement

To provide standard and specialty data products and equipment interfaces to our customers to achieve 100% mission success in support of NASA Airborne Science facility systems inflight as well as on the ground.

DADS Post-Flight Data Archives

DADS data is listed by fiscal year and deployment. Within the deployment folder, each flight is listed by sortie number. To view these files you will need to uncompress them using a program such as WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac). Data files listed with .asc extension are text files that can be viewed with any text editor. The maps are .ps (postscript) files that are viewed using a Postscript Viewer. Ghostscript software version 6.50 is recommended. For additional information regarding DADS, please contact the ASDS Group.

Please Note, available archived DADS data covers FY95 - FY00. Data from FY01 through the current year can be found with the ICATS Data Archives.
