USDA Employees Capture Jefferson Cup for Excellence

USDA Graduate School employees, from left, Mary Luke, Frank Henzel and Pamela Walker display Jefferson Cup awards won recently for "professional achievements in continuing education (that) exemplify the spirit of Thomas Jefferson's dedication to education and learning."

The pewter cups are replicas of some owned by Jefferson. The award is presented annually by the Executive Director of the Graduate School, USDA, and includes a cash award. The Dryden trio participated via video link in awards ceremonies held June 24 at the Capitol Gallery in Washington, D.C.
