The Smell of Kerosene: A Test Pilot's Odyssey

Retired research pilot Don Mallick, at right, tackles stacks of copies of his autobiography, "The Smell of Kerosene: A Test Pilot's Odyssey," signing them for hundreds of Dryden employees and Mallick's former colleagues. The book was co-written by Dryden archivist Peter Merlin (seated at Mallick's right) and published in April by the Center's History office, where additional copies may be obtained free of charge.
