Dryden offers scholarships

NASA college scholarships are available to full-time students who are dependents of current or former NASA employees, of living detailees to NASA or of detailees who died while working at NASA. The scholarships are provided and awarded by the NASA College Scholarship Fund Inc., a non-profit corporation.

Five $2,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2004-2005 school year. The renewable scholarships are for a maximum of $8,000 over six calendar years. Applicants must be pursuing a course of study in a science or engineering field that will lead to a recognized undergraduate degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.

Applications must be received at the scholarship corporation by March 22. The scholarship announcement and application are available at http://jscpeople.jsc.nasa.gov/ncsf.htm or from Dryden Exchange Council Scholarship Coordinator Tracy Edmonson (tracy.edmonson@dfrc. nasa.gov). For additional information, contact Edmonson at ext. 3320.
