Drawing the friendly skies
His drawing of a solar-powered aircraft won 9-year-old Jarett Tyler Bennett, a student at Branch Elementary School, top honors in an Earth Day contest sponsored by Dryden's education ofice and staff at the Earth sciences directorate.
Pictured with his mother, Taleena Bennett, at right, and his grandmother, Barbara McNaught, Jarett received a lithograph signed by DC-8 and ER-2 personnel and was given a tour of hangar 1623.
He is the son of Timothy Bennett, a weapons loads evaluator with the 412th Maintenance Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base.
