NASA Dryden Awards Planning Support Contract To GRD, Inc.

EDWARDS, Calif. – NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center has awarded a contract to GRD Inc., of Doylestown, Pa., for continued project management planning support at the center, effective June 1, 2010.
The contract covers a one-year base period and options for four additional years through May 31, 2015. The new pact is a hybrid contract, incorporating both firm fixed price and cost reimbursement elements, and could be worth up to $7.3 million over five years if all options are exercised.
Under terms of the agreement, GRD will provide project management planning support and scheduling services to NASA Dryden to support both mission-related and facilities engineering projects for Dryden’s project managers and teams as well as Dryden’s executive leadership.
The new contract, awarded May 28, is a follow-on contract with GRD, Inc., which performed the same services under a prior five-year pact. About 10 persons are employed by the firm under these contracts at NASA Dryden.
GRD, Inc. specializes in program and project planning and scheduling as well as various levels of analysis and reporting to all levels of the center.
