Ikhana Pod

Ikhana instrument pod. NASA Photo. In addition to the aircraft, NASA Dryden has developed an instrumentation pod that can be carried on the wing station of the Ikhana. The pod can accommodate payloads of up to 350 pounds in a volume of approximately 20 cubic foot. The pod is modifiable to accommodate camera ports and external sensor installations.
