Description

Santa Clara University (SCU) and NASA have executed some Space Act Agreements. For the first Space Act Agreement, SCU formed a collaborative partnership with NASA and UARC to advance the study of astrobiology, life and microgravity sciences, biotechnology, nanotechnology, aeronautical and space technology development information science and technology, and promote science and technology education.

For the second Space Act Agreement SCU formed with NASA Ames the Center for Robotic Exploration and Space Technologies (CREST), a consortium of local and national academic institutions that collaborate with governmental and industrial partners in pursuit of robotic and space – related mission development, technology advancement, and education opportunity.
